So 2007, here we are. Tepr’s sound is spreading through clubland like wildfire and this EP of two well road tested tracks gets a new outing and two new cracking remixes. ‘En Direct De La Cote’ leads off with a funky keyboard riff that gets sucked into a razor sharp sax line and then runs off hand in hand with Giorgio Moroder and John Carpenter before Patrick Alavi (fresh from remixing The Gossip) provides a gritty-edged, staccato electro re-working that beefs up the bass on all fronts. ‘Minuit Jacuzzi’ keeps the tempo pumping coming on like Daft Punk and George Clinton thrown in the blender whilst DatA add some even more slammin’ beats to the mix for a quality two-pronged dancefloor assault. |
