Mekon |
The original Wall of Sound signing Mekon returned with his third studio album 'Something Came Up'. This time the former member of Psychic TV and Agent Provocateur, Mekon (aka John Gosling) collaborated with some of the more eccentric names in modern music.
Shimmering amongst Mekon's dark and menacing electronics are such esteemed music legends as Afrika Bambaata, Roxanne Shanté, Marc Almond and Kevin Mooney from Adam and the Ants. Not to mention the double A single which features 'Blood On The Moon', the inspired collaboration between Bobby Gillespie and Suicide's Alan Vega.
Mekon enlisted the help of fashion designer, friend and collaborator Alexander McQueen to provide the provocative sleeve imagery - too much for this website, you'll have to find a copy instore to get the full flavour. |
